Meet the Founder Joy Madubuike, FNP-BC, MSFNP,
Joy is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 18 years of experience in nursing, general medicine, and healthcare, spanning acute and critical care, long-term care, community and end-of-life care, management, wellness, and medical aesthetics.
Joy completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at York University in 2006 and further advanced her expertise by obtaining a Critical Care Nursing Certificate from Durham College in 2014. In 2019, she earned her Botulinum Toxin & Cosmetic Fillers Certification, enhancing her skills in aesthetic care.
Joy holds a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner (MSFNP), Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certified (FNP-BC) from D’Youville University in Buffalo, New York. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to specialized training in obesity management, having completed the Intro to Obesity Course and CALIBRE training with Obesity Canada. Additionally, she has pursued advanced training with ASCEND at the Bariatric Centre of Excellence and is actively working towards her Certified Bariatric Educator (CBE) designation.
Currently, Joy is in the process of completing her Advanced Certification in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) by the Academy of Preventive & Innovative Medicine by Worldlink Medical. She is a proud member of the Nurse Practitioners’ Association of Ontario (NPAO), reflecting her dedication to professional growth and excellence in patient care.

With authority to see patients independently, Joy performs controlled acts including ordering diagnostic tests, diagnosing common conditions, prescribing controlled substances, and administering specialized treatments, while adhering to best practices in alignment with the Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG).
